About Laing

The Laing family of companies originated in Stuttgart, Germany in the early 1970′s with the introduction of unique solar and pump products. Born from extensive research and development activities, Laing now has a large number of registered patents in consumer, commercial, and industrial markets.

Due to its initial success in Europe, Laing entered the U.S. market in 1983 with the formation of Laing Thermotech, Inc., in Chula Vista, California. Current operations within the Laing family group include research and development facilities in Stuttgart, Germany; manufacturing entities in Budapest, Hungary; sales and marketing operations in Osaka, Japan; and sales, marketing, and distribution facilities in Fresno, California. Today, Laing’s primary focus is on the manufacturing of fractional horsepower pumps.

This provides us agility, responsiveness, and the ability to fulfill the most exacting requirements. From aluminum die-casting, to bronze casting, to plastic injection molding, to the manufacturing of electronic components, to sintering magnets – at Laing we do as much as possible in-house keeping quality standards utmost in mind.

Awards

The little DC pump Laing Ecocirc D5solar, powered by photovoltaic panels was multi awarded on the Heating and Ventilating News Awards 2007 with the “Domestic H&V Product of the Year”, the “Industrial/Commercial Heating Product of the Year” and was awarded silver as the “Renewable Product of the Year”.Laing was awarded with the Innovation Award “Innovationspreis Baden-Württemberg (Dr.-Rudolf-Eberle Preis)” for the electronics cooling DDC pump.
