Xylem,  Residential and Commercial Water is committed to making a positive difference in the world.

Our citizenship efforts are growing because they align with our business priorities. As a global water leader we recognize this precious natural resource not only sustains life, it ensures economic development and a continued market for our products and services.

Caring for our communities and helping people in need is a core value of Xylem. To this end, we provide equipment, systems, and applications knowledge to users throughout the cycle of water; we clean, protect, and deliver safe water to water-stressed areas; and we help disaster sites throughout the world.

We also are dedicated to nurturing knowledge and awareness of the world’s water issues through support of non-governmental organizations. The following are just some of Xylem’s philanthropic activities:

• Mercy Corps

• Rural Water Project

  Xylem is developing a “disaster relief” water treatment system, designed specifically for villages in Africa and Asia dealing with contaminated water supplies.

• Stockholm Junior Water Prize
