SPONSOR/FACEBOOK: This XylemKnowsH2O iPad2™ Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by the Residential & Commercial Water unit of Xylem Inc., whose address is 8200 N. ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is offered and open only to legal U.S. residents legally residing in all of the states of the United States, except Rhode Island, and Washington, D.C. who are at least eighteen (18) years of age or age of majority in their state of residence on the date of entry in the Sweepstakes. Employees, directors, officers and agents of Sponsor, and each of their respective parent companies, divisions, dealers, affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, advertising and promotional agencies, and suppliers involved in the Sweepstakes, as well as the members of each of their immediate families (spouse, parents, children, siblings, and in-laws) and persons residing in the same household as such individuals are not eligible to enter or win. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:00 AM U.S. Central Time on November 22, 2011 and ends at 11:59:59 PM U.S. Central Time on December 20, 2011 (the “Sweepstakes Period”).

HOW TO ENTER: Internet access and a valid email address are required to enter. To enter the Sweepstakes, visitwww.facebook.com/XylemKnowsH2O (“Website”) during the Sweepstakes Period and click on the “Win an iPad” link. Follow the directions to complete the online entry form. All persons entering in the Sweepstakes as provided in this Paragraph 4 in compliance with all the other terms and conditions of these Official Rules will be entered into the random drawing described in Paragraph 7 below. Sponsor’s computer is the official time keeping device for this Sweepstakes. Entrants must fully complete and submit all data required on the online entry form to be eligible; incomplete entries are null and void. All materials submitted become the sole property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Entries generated by a robotic, programmed, script, macro or other automated means are prohibited and will be disqualified; any use of automated methods of entry may result in disqualification.

MULTIPLE ENTRIES PROHIBITED: Limit one (1) entry per person/email address. If more than one (1) entry is received from the same person or email address, only the first entry received will be considered valid and Sponsor may choose to disqualify all entries submitted by that person at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Participants may not register with multiple email addresses; nor may entrants use any other device or artifice to register/enter multiple times. Any participant who attempts to enter with multiple email addresses under multiple identities or uses any device or artifice to register/enter multiple times will be disqualified at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
PRIZE: One (1) grand prize consisting of an iPad2™ with an approximate retail value of $599.99 (“ARV”) (“Grand Prize”) will be awarded. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. iPad is a trademark of Apple Inc.

WINNER SELECTION/NOTIFICATION: The Winner will be selected in a random drawing conducted after Dec. 20, 2011 from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period by Sponsor or its designee, whose decisions are final on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received. The Grand Prize will be awarded assuming it is properly claimed. Potential winner will be notified by phone, mail, email, or overnight delivery. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of a winning entrant, the entry will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry (i.e., the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address). Potential winner may be required to provide Sponsor with proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the winning entry.

PRIZE TERMS: No cash equivalent or other substitution for the Grand Prize is permitted except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. If the Grand Prize, or any portion thereof, cannot be awarded for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute another prize of equal or greater value. Any portion of the Grand prize not accepted by the winner will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner pursuant to a further random drawing. All federal, state, and local taxes on, and any expenses relating to the acceptance and use of, the Grand Prize not specified herein are the responsibility of the winner. The ARV of the Grand Prize is stated as of the time these Official Rules were printed and the value of the prize may fluctuate. A winner is not entitled to any difference between the ARV and the actual value of the prize at the time the prize is awarded. In no event will more than the number of prizes stated in these Official Rules be awarded. If, for any reason, more prize notifications are sent (or more claims are received) than the number of prizes offered, as set forth in these Official Rules, Sponsor reserves the right to award the intended number of prizes through a further random drawing from among all eligible prize claims received.

WINNER VERIFICATION: Potential winner is subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. In the event of noncompliance with these Official Rules, or if prize notification or prize is returned as undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner pursuant to a further random drawing.

ADDITIONAL TERMS: All online entries must include valid email and mailing addresses and telephone numbers of entrants.
